The Arden of Faversham, a ruthless businessman, has been appointed by The King to look over his affairs, in return The King has granted Arden the lands of the Abbey of Faversham and Arden promptly decides to evict all tennants who live there. Meanwhile, Arden's wife Alice is having an affair with a common gentleman called Mosby, they decide the best way to carry on their forbidden love and to acquire Ardens ever-increasing wealth is to have him dispatched with...something the furious neighbours are more than pleased to help with.

 

What follows is a sold-out hour and fifteen minutes of debauchery, fighting, dancing, partying and less than cunning plots!
